SIDEBAND REPLACEABLE TIP
Seed Placement: The seed is placed in a 3/4” (19mm) band onto a firm seedbed.
Fertilizer Placement: Starter fertilizer is placed to the side (right or left) on a slightly lower shelf than the seed. In less-than-ideal conditions, mixing between seed and fertilizer may occur.
Packer Recommendation: 4-1/2” (114mm) round or 5″ (127mm) U and VU packers. Do not recommend the 4-1/2″ V packer.
ALL WINGS ON SIDEBAND OPENERS MUST BE POINTING INWARD TO THE CENTER OF THE SEEDING UNIT TO PREVENT PLUGGING WHEN TURNING.
Customer should order half left and half right wing tips. 612-TIP-0211 (left wing) & 612-TIP-0212 (right wing).
