Seed Placement: Seed is directed rearward through the tip which places the seed in two rows onto a firm, unfractured seedbed.
Fertilizer Placement: Fertilizer is delivered on the same level, between the rows of seed. In less than ideal conditions, mixing between seed and fertilizer may occur. For more information please refer to precautions & risk factors.
Disturbance: Ultra-low draft, low disturbance, and smoother fields.
Tip Options: Replaceable cast chrome tip (610-TIP-4041) with carbide inserts on the nose and narrow carbide on the cutting edges of the wings for great penetration. Assemblies include the tip.
Packer Recommendation: 4” (102mm) or wider.
Overview: Hard facing is placed on critical wear points to ensure a long-lasting holder. The streamlined holder design reduces plugging and allows for better trash clearance. Designed for use with 1-1/4” (32mm) O.D. hose. Bushings are available for smaller hoses.
These openers provide the flexibility to easily switch between Granular and Liquid fertilizer. Available with liquid phos. Please call the factory for more information.
Notes: Installation bolts sold separately. Use Grade 8 carriage bolts.
When installing on 50° shanks other than Bourgault or Ezee-On use wedge 880-WDG-0300 or 880-WDG-0301.
